The two almost equal sides of the facility are separated by a breezeway that provides natural ventilation like an old-fashioned “dog trot” house. One side has the boarding kennels and the other has the other functions of the facility including a screened porch for cats at the end of the building. Enrichment opportunities for the dogs occur in the three exercise yards, a pasture with horses and a two-acre pond for swimming.
