The new center is in the middle of 8-acre triangular property located on the corner of a state highway and a residential boulevard. The new campus has the existing shelter on one side (future intake and clinic only) and a new dog park on the other. The large courtyard covered by photovoltaics (not shown) suits the retail purpose of the facility and is designed to be LEED certified.
